The merger of BDO and Moore Stephens in the UK is completed

Merger transaction of the British representative offices of BDO and Moore Stephens LLP is officially completed. The result is a combined team of 300 managers with the head office in Bristol , writes Insider Media.

The company will operate under the brand BDO and as part of the international network BDO International, which today has more than 80,000 people in 162 countries, and annual revenue – about $9 billion employees.  In the UK , the total number of BDO UK employees is 5,000 people in 17 different offices, and the revenue they bring each year is £ 590 million.

After the merger BDO has significantly strengthened its position in the market and became the third largest auditor of listed companies.

Partner of the Bristol branch of BDO Andrea Bishop said: “After months of negotiations, I am proud that we have reached the point where we are officially one company. There is no better time for the two companies to join forces.”

Also she added: “The audit market is going through a significant period of reform and our clients are facing unprecedented uncertainty as Brexit looms.
